Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) announced Swedish Government Scholarships for International Students.

Scholarship seats: 300+

Level of the Study: Master’s/MS/MPhil (about 600 programs)

The scholarship covers:

  • Full Tuition fees: pay directly to the Swedish university by SI
  • A Stipend of SEK 10,000/month
  • SEK 15,000 for travel (The travel grant is a one-time payment for the entire study period. The grant is not applicable to students already living in Sweden)
  • Health allowance

The scholarship does not cover:

  • Additional grants for family members
  • Application fee to University Admissions

Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Cameroon, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Morocco, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Dual Citizenship

If you are a dual citizen and both are eligible for the Swedish Government Scholarships program, you should choose only one of these nationalities when applying for the SI scholarship. This means that you can only apply for SI scholarships. Candidates who apply for more than one SI scholarship and have more than one citizenship will be disbarred.

Duration of the Scholarship:

The scholarship is intended for one or two-year full-time master’s programs and is only available for programs starting in the autumn semester.  The tuition fee will be paid directly to Swedish universities at the beginning of every semester. The residence allowance is paid monthly.

The scholarship duration cannot be changed or extended beyond the scholarship period, nor may it be transferred to any study program other than the Master’s degree program.

The candidate must only provide the necessary documents listed below in the online application form. No documents other than those required will be considered. The application form must be completed in English. Use the forms and templates below to complete them according to the instructions below and on the forms, otherwise, your application will be disqualified. Please note the limited scope of your answers and documents.

A copy of your passport should be attached to your application. Your data, including name, nationality, and photo, should be clearly stated.

Deadline:

To begin with, apply for a master’s program at university admissions, between 16 October 2019 – 15 January 2020.
