The Commonwealth Scholarships are fully funded awards that enable talented and motivated individuals to gain knowledge and skills and are aimed at those who could not afford to study in the UK. The benefits of these scholarships include:

  • Airfare or an air ticket, one per year (economy class).
  • Arrival allowance
  • Free accommodation at the university dormitory or a living allowance.
  • Medical / Health insurance.
  • Monthly or Yearly stipend.

Eligibility Criteria for Commonwealth Scholarships in UK

  • The applicant must hold refugee status in or a permanent resident/citizen of one the member country in the eligible countries for Commonwealth Scholarships.
  • To apply for an undergraduate degree program, you must have completed a high school.
  • To apply for a Master’s degree, you must have completed the undergraduate level study.
  • To apply for a Ph.D., you must have completed a Master’s degree.
  • For Post-Doctoral, a completed Ph.D. is necessary.
  • Age limit: for bachelor’s (18 to 25), master’s up to 35 and Ph.D., 40.
